What is Nanta? 
As the first non-verbal performance in Korea, Nanta is a comic sketch of things that happen in the kitchen, performed through Samulnori, Korean traditional percussion quartet melodies. It’s a powerful performance for all ages and gender, melting the stress away with knives, cutting boards and kitchen utensils transforming into fabulous musical instruments. 

It received rave reviews at its premier in October 1997, and since then has raised an all-time highest number of audiences in the history of performances in Korea through continuous improvements. After gaining much popularity through performances in England, Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the Netherlands, Australia and other countries world-wide, Nanta successfully established itself on New York’s Broadway. 
Performed throughout the year in its exclusive theater in Seoul, Nanta fixed a goal of performing for 10 years, a goal that is unprecedented in Korea. It has also been firmly placed in the tourist route as one of Top 10 things-to-do for foreign visitors to Korea.

A ballerina who dreamt of becoming a prima donna dancer gives-up her dream of a prima donna dancer, as she is disturbed by a hip-hop square, next to her studio. She looks down on the street dancers at first, but slowly falls in love with a b-boy dancer and eventually loses her identity as a ballerina.

….. Meet one very unusual family!
 Set in an average Korean home, JUMP is centered around a typical, but dramatically agile, Korean family – from the authoritarian grandfather, drunken uncle and Tae Kwon Do-chopping mother to the awkward girlfriend’s suitor. 
Each member is a martial arts expert, possessing championship level Tae Kwon Do, Tae Kyun and gymnastic skills. They enjoy nothing more than challenging each other to martial arts showdowns, displaying their awe-inspiring expertise. 
The plot thickens when two burglars break into the family home in the middle of the night – one a sleek, mean villain, the other a plump, bumbling idiot – complete with rather scary hair! When the family discovers the intruders, a mighty battle ensues. What follows is an incredible display of acrobatic and martial arts skills, with a healthy dose of slapstick humour…

THE LOOK tells a story about four alien entities all named ‘Look’, who in no time displays each one’s characteristic traits such as drawing, goofing up, and dancing. The sensational 90-minute performance is the epitome of the ‘original drawing show’ that is filled with not only elements of classical and contemporary, but also East and West. Beginning with a brush stroke on a blank canvas, the performance takes the audience through an amazing presentation of various materials, techniques and special effects with each scene. The actors’ performance perfects the show, enriching the temporal space between each piece of work with their power to persuade the probability of the story. 

MISO : Baebijang-jeon”a satirical novel representative of the Joseon era, is a classical novel written by an unknown author in the late Joseon Dynasty in which humor stands out vividly as it evokes laughter by alluding to the hypocrisy of the ruling class and natural human desires. This novel was recreated and performed as a Korean traditional opera, a musical, etc., becoming a performance content that has already verified its box-office worth and entertainment value to the domestic audience. 
“MISO : Baebijang-jeon” is Jeongdong Theater’s Special Performance and new work of art of 2014. It doesn’t just present traditional dance and music in a one dimensional dance drama. It goes on to heighten the beauty of form as a holistic performance by harmonizing rhythm, melody, theatrical devices, and dancing steps based on Korean traditional movements. It also increases the completion level of the dramatic story that penetrates the entire performance.
